This luxurious ranch lodge awaits you and your friends....located on 150 acres of Texas Hill Country remoteness and sliced through by the James River, the Bar None River Ranch appeals to the outdoor enthusiast who desires privacy. The ranch is located in southern Mason County, outside of the historic small towns of Mason and Fredricksberg. The James River runs through the middle of the property.  In the Spring, wildflowers abound.  In the summer you can cool down in one of the larges springs in the hill country.  In the fall just enjoy the crystal clear star filled skies, and in the winter the outdoor fireplace will keep you toasty warm. The ranch house is only 400 yards away from the Eckert Bat Cave, one of the true wonders of the Texas Hill Country.

The Bar None is an ideal location for intimate weddings, artist, photography or writers' workshops.  Ladies or small church and business retreats work well here also.

Sleeps 12.  Small dog friendly (less than 15 pounds) - no cats.

 Christmas/ New Years   December 21, 2012 - January 2, 2013, $495 per night, 3 night minimum for the holidays.

Children welcome, pets, 15 pounds or less $10 per night, maximum 2 dogs.

A 1,600 square foot covered porch surrounds this wonderful ranch house where you can rock your troubles away.  While there is no TV, spend your evenings in front of the beautiful fireplace or down by the river at the campfire roasting marshmellows and telling stories.  There is  a full kitchen, a bar that seats 4 and a dining table seating 6.  Down stairs is a master bedroom with a queen bed and a master bath with a clawfoot tub and shower head.  There are also 3 additonal bedrooms with queen beds and a 2nd bath with a shower stall.  Upstairs in the loft are 4 twin bed.s.  A game room with a pool table and Foosball are available for some commeraderie. Washer and dryer are available - bring your own soap.

Outside there is a large grill tha can cook a 100 pound slab of beef and a charcoal/firewood grill for smaller meals. The James River is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute car ride away. A reasonable amout of fire wood is availble for your use, however excessive usage may incur an additional charge.
