Located just outside Wimberley this home is spacious and situated on 35 acres. The large open living room, dining room, kitchen area looks out over the large porch and down into a valley. The 19 foot vaulted ceilings, stone columns and open wood trusses make this a true hill country ranch. There is plenty of seating for everyone inside or out. A pool is located just steps away from the porch with a view from any area, it ranges from 3 1/2 feet to 4 1/5 feet with benches inset into it. The lounge pool is 12 to 18 inches deep. All of the rock comes from within 100 yards of where it now sits. Relax by the wateralls or in the hot tub or the wet or dry sauna area. Sit by the firepit at night and gaze at the stars. BBQ in the 500 square foot covered pavilion, eat your dinner and enjoy the outdoor fireplace on a cool winter evening. There are 4000 square feet of natural rock patios and walkways. The game room features a pool table and a bar area with a small refrigerator as well as a sound system with speakers for outside also. The wood on the walls is salvaged from a 105 year old house, and the doors are from the old Lincoln Hotel in Nebraska. The master bedroom has a King bed, sit area and door to the deck as well as a twin trundle bed.. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a large walk in shower with multiple shower heads. Just inside the front door is a bedroom with a Queen bed. There is a computer, with fax and printer and well as a TV. The full bathroom has a walk in shower. On the other side of the house just past the game room are the other bedrooms. One with a King and a private bathroom. Two have Queen beds,both have an additional twin bed in the room The third bedroom has a Queen only. The hall bathroom has a tub with a shower. There are 9 HD LCD's located in the house which has DirecTV. Sleeps up to 15 guests.
Coming June 2013...The new game room building has a Theatre Room with elevated seats for up to 10 people. 120" screen with surround sound. Full bath with a shower. 1000 square foot game room with Pool Table, Foosball, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, 20' Shuffleboard, Jukebox, Pinball, 55" TV, Wood buring fireplace. There is a solid wall of glass overlooking the view. Kitchen area with fridge and sink. 700 square foot covered deck overlooking the canyon view. The old game room will have a new card playing table and chairs. There is an informal disc golf course that winds around the main house and has 6 baskets. Bring your own disc. This is classified as a 'technical" course. No smoking is allowed in the house and pets are not allowed. After departure, if upon inspection we find that this has happened you will be charged a $450 minimum cleaning fee.
Must be over 25 years old to rent this property. 30 days cancellation required with a $100 cancellation fee.
